Fun facts about our culture

Grad & Intern Day

Dell on Tour

Every year we host an All-Ireland Grad & Intern Day. We bring every graduate and intern we have hired over the last year together on one of our sites for the day. This day gives everyone a chance to network, celebrate the beginning of their careers together as well as the opportunity to hear from a variety of leaders and past graduates from the different Business Units about their Dell journeys.

Every year we visit colleges and universities across Ireland. We call this DellOnTour. This gives us the opportunity to showcase what #LifeatDell is really like. We showcase extracurricular activities within Dell such as our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). We carry out this activity every September and October so make sure to stay tuned for when we could be visiting your college campus!

WAM Leader Awards

The Software Skillnet’s Women KickSTART Program is specifically aimed at unemployed enthusiastic females who want a career opportunity in the growing IT sector. It is designed to fast-track high potential job seekers for new and exciting work in the sector.

We believe that everyone has unique strengths and skills to contribute in the workplace. We strive to create an environment that is inclusive, and accessible that inspires people with disabilities to thrive and succeed. We have been awarded the WAM Leader Awards in 2017 and 2019. The WAM Leader Awards are given to employers to recognize their contribution in promoting the employment of graduates with disabilities.

Social Impact

Progress Made Real is our vision for 2030 building on the passionate work of Legacy of Good plan, articulating how we will create a positive social impact for the humankind and our planet. Throughout the year, we regularly participate in fundraising and corporate social responsibility activities, especially with our partner the children’s charity, Barnardos. These range from Bake Sales and Beach Clean Ups to Spin Cycle Challenges between each of our sites and Carole Singing at Christmas.

StemAspire is a Mentorship program designed to connect 3rd level female STEM students to female role models within Dell. The objective is to encourage and empower female students to graduate and to have successful and rewarding careers in the technology sector.

Indeed Award

We have been awarded the Best Place to Work by Indeed for 2017 and 2018.
