Embracing Global Work Culture at Dell Technologies

I started at Dell working with ANZ Total Solutions, before moving to Client Technical Support. I now work as a SA Enterprise Technical Support at Dell. These transitions gave me the opportunity to collaborate and communicate with people from various places around the world. It has allowed me to gain some exposure to the world we are living in and knowledge on different perspectives. We may have different ways to work, but at the end of the day we share the same goal. 

Dell Technologies is an organization that cherishes its employees, and it’s the little things that matter the most.  Around the holiday season, I receive warm messages and Dell holds holiday events for the various cultures. This allows employees who celebrate different holidays to feel respected and noticed. This also allows team members to better understand one another while immersing themselves in the joy of others.  

As a Penangite who has been living in Penang Island, Malaysia for all my life, I am used to being surrounded by diverse cultures such as Malay, Chinese, Indian and more. Working with people who come from different backgrounds has become the norm for me at Dell, and it is always a privilege to be a part of such a diverse environment.  I am proud to be working at Dell and it is an amazing feeling when everyone from different backgrounds and perspectives can come together as a team.
