Dell Technologies is expanding its innovation business in Poland by opening a Software Research & Development (R&D) Center. We’re building a team of innovators who want to make a lasting impact on our solutions and on the future of technology across the industry. We currently have hundreds of remote openings in Software Engineering, Tech Leadership and more. The types of projects that are available are in Multi-Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, AI/ML, Kubernetes, Software Defined Storage Systems, and Disaster Recovery Solutions. 

Meet Agnieszka P., the Director of our new Research & Development Center in Poland.  

I joined Dell Technologies because it was a perfect match between the culture I wanted to work in, the challenge provided and the opportunity to use my strengths.  

During my initial discussions, I was hesitant, because I used to link Dell with infrastructure and software is my area of expertise. This notion was quickly clarified, and I am still very astonished at how interesting, unique, and innovative Dell’s software portfolio is. Especially when having conversations with managers responsible for the various solutions.  

The recruitment process was also a big reason for my decision to join Dell. During the process, I had a strong feeling that this is my place to be. I had the opportunity to observe the culture, leadership qualities, openness, and the will to understand me not only from the perspective of my skills, but also as a person – it was impressive. I’m very sensitive when it comes to a company’s culture, and I believe that this is a crucial aspect. We spend so much time at work, which is why it’s very important to have a positive environment and nice people around. 

I’m very passionate about working in these environments and consider it my personal mission to build great teams, while also creating these environments for other people. What could better fit this mission than being able to build a new and fast-growing Software Research & Development Center for the company that shares my values and ways of working? As I said at the beginning, a perfect match. 

You might be curious about how my expectations met reality. From the first day, I was impressed with the level of skills, engagement, and welcoming approach of the people I worked with. I admire the culture, Dell Technologies' achievements, and the changes brought to the community and world by volunteering and through social initiatives. 

Recruitment for the R&D center has already started and the plans to grow are huge. We are hiring hundreds of new people that will be working on Software Solutions. The areas of focus include Multi-cloud Solutions, Data Management, Software Define Storage Systems, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of things (IoT) and more.
