I'm currently working as a Pro Bono Experience Specialist at Dell Technologies. My role centers around amplifying the impact of Dell’s Pro Bono Consulting Program, which connects skilled Dell professionals with nonprofit organizations to help them solve critical business challenges. I focus on storytelling, outreach and engagement strategies that help us recruit more volunteers and nonprofits. It's all about creating meaningful connections between Dell’s vast talent pool and nonprofits that could benefit from that expertise, helping them bridge gaps in digital transformation and organizational growth. I also work on content creation—whether it’s crafting the right messaging, designing campaigns, or developing videos—to tell the story of how our volunteers are making a difference in communities worldwide.
What has your career journey at Dell Technologies been like so far?
It’s been a dynamic and rewarding journey! I started in the Marketing Development Program (MDP), where I gained a deep understanding of Dell’s marketing strategies and had the opportunity to rotate through different teams, each offering a unique perspective on how we engage with customers and the broader market. The MDP allowed me to build foundational skills in areas like content marketing, digital strategy and customer engagement. Transitioning into my current role has been an exciting evolution where I can merge my passion for storytelling with my desire to drive social impact. It’s been a learning experience every step of the way, and the journey continues to shape me professionally and personally.
Don’t be afraid to take risks and get comfortable being uncomfortable. Every new challenge is an opportunity for growth, and it’s important to embrace it. Looking back, I would also remind myself to be patient—career growth is a journey, not a race. Trust the process, stay curious and don’t hesitate to ask for help or seek mentorship when you need it.

How did the MDP prepare you for a permanent position?
The MDP gave me exposure to different facets of the business, allowing me to build a diverse skill set that’s been invaluable in my current role. Each rotation gave me new challenges, from managing campaigns to understanding customer insights, and I learned to be agile and adaptable. Perhaps the most important takeaway was understanding how to leverage storytelling to connect with different audiences. This experience directly translates to the work I do now, where communicating the value and impact of our Pro Bono program to nonprofits, volunteers and internal teams is key.
What piece of advice would you give to your ‘early in career’ self?
Don’t be afraid to take risks and get comfortable being uncomfortable. Every new challenge is an opportunity for growth, and it’s important to embrace it. Looking back, I would also remind myself to be patient—career growth is a journey, not a race. Trust the process, stay curious and don’t hesitate to ask for help or seek mentorship when you need it. Lastly, build relationships and network early. The people you meet along the way are invaluable resources for support, learning and collaboration.
Dell emphasizes diversity and inclusion. How does your team ensure a diverse pool of candidates? Why is diversity crucial in driving innovation in Marketing within the organization?
Diversity and inclusion are essential to everything we do at Dell, and within my team, we actively seek out a wide range of voices and perspectives to drive innovation. In the Pro Bono program, we’re always looking for diverse volunteers who bring unique skills and experiences that nonprofits need. From a broader marketing perspective, diverse teams help us think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and come up with creative solutions that resonate with diverse customer bases. Different perspectives help ensure that our strategies are inclusive, which is crucial when working on global campaigns that cater to people from all walks of life.
What has been a "standout moment" or accomplishment in your career at Dell?
A standout moment for me was presenting our Pro Bono Consulting Workshops during our Global Marketing "All Hands on Deck" meeting. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase the program to a large audience, and it was my first time presenting in front of such a significant number of people. The experience was not only a great way to bring attention to the program, but I was also able to connect with so many colleagues who reached out afterward—either to learn more about how they could get involved or to share how energized they felt by the presentation. The feedback I received was both humbling and inspiring, and it really underscored the power of storytelling in amplifying our social impact work.
What is your favorite part about working at Dell?
I love the culture of collaboration and the opportunity to work on projects that align with both my professional goals and personal values. The ability to use my skills to create social impact, alongside passionate colleagues who share the same vision, makes Dell a truly unique place to work. I also appreciate the constant encouragement to grow and develop, whether it’s through learning opportunities or taking on new challenges.
Dell provides a platform for growth and impact that’s hard to find elsewhere. Whether you’re passionate about marketing, technology or social impact, there’s room to explore your interests and make meaningful contributions. The MDP was an incredible foundation for that, but what stands out the most is the supportive culture and the emphasis on personal and professional development.
