Creating a Culture of Belonging & Trust: Insights from the Dell Technologies Taiwan x CAREhER Event

At Dell Technologies, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where every individual feels a sense of belonging and trust. Last Friday, we took a significant step forward in achieving this goal by hosting the inaugural Dell Technologies x CAREhER Curated event. This event proved to be a dynamic platform for an intimate Salon Talk that took a deep dive into the crucial aspects of building a culture of belonging in the workplace. We were honored to have Janice Lu, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and a core team member of the Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Dell, and Peter Yan, the Co-Founder of Pinkoi, as our esteemed speakers.

 
The evening began with an invigorating round of introductions from our diverse audience. Participants shared anecdotes and personal experiences that underscored the significance of cultivating a sense of belonging and trust within today’s work culture. On the other hand, Peter captivated us with his journey to build a diverse work culture on Pinkoi through his approach to fostering consistent and open communication with employees. He shared that by engaging in non-work-related conversations and exploring coworkers' passions outside their roles, he gains a profound understanding of their motivations. This empowers him to lead and develop their talent effectively, contributing to the growth and success of the entire organization.
