DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
Women at Dell
Dell Technologies is committed to attracting, retaining and developing women across its global operations.
Whether through internal development programs or through relationships with industry partners, we believe these development opportunities are critical to sustaining our growth and market leadership. They are key to cultivating an inclusive culture.
DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
Ethnic & Cultural Empowerment
Dell Technologies realizes that a company dedicated to continued growth and innovation must be equally committed to equality and inclusion. That's why we’re working to build a workforce that reflects the diversity of our customers, suppliers and partners around the world. From recruiting the best talent and ensuring a culture of belonging, to developing talent, we want everyone to be set up for success.
Race and ethnicity – as well as culture (socio-economic status, religion and language) – are dimensions of diversity that often create barriers to full equity and inclusion in parts of the world. Because of this, Dell dedicates resources to create new, innovative initiatives focused on ethnic and cultural empowerment.
Employee Empowerment
Bringing our collective voices together for greater impact.
When we welcome and empower team members to show up at work as their true selves, the results are amazing. Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) help us create that sense of inclusion for all. Our award-winning ERGs are communities within Dell Technologies in which team members with common interests or backgrounds can come together to connect, develop new skills, and directly impact the business and their communities.
These groups are so powerful in shaping our culture and positively contributing to our business through increased employee engagement, that we have set a goal for 50% of our team members to participate in ERGs by 2030.

Strategic Initiatives
We are working to apply our expertise in technology and innovation to knock down barriers and eliminate bias wherever it exists through strategic initiatives.
-
Increasing representation and retention is essential to Dell. A diverse and inclusive environment ensures that Dell is a place where people want to work and where team members feel they belong. We have many programs that focus on attracting and empowering talent from diverse backgrounds to establish a uniquely strong diverse workforce. We partner with historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-serving institutions (HSIs) and community colleges through programs that include curriculum, internships, and employment opportunities.
Students and recent hires are paired with mentors and buddies who will provide you with 1-on-1 support and guidance to assist you through your journey as you begin your career.
-
Opening up education and empowering future generations.
We’ve invested over $70 million to advancing STEM initiatives globally. We’re also building innovative partnerships and programs to create pathways for talent to enter – and re-enter – STEM, whether students or seasoned professionals, with different skills and from other industries.
-
Supporting talent to enter or re-enter the workforce.
Careers don't always follow a linear path. Statistically, women leave the technology industry at a 45% higher rate than men, according to the Center for Talent Innovation. This could be for many reasons, including starting a family, caring for a family member or going back to school. We not only welcome professionals back after taking time off, we also provide a comprehensive workforce reentry program to help them pick up where they left off.
