Strategic Alliances Solutioning and Certification Engineer - Ericsson

What you’ll achieve

The Strategic Alliances Solutioning and Certification Engineerprovides guidance and contribute to technical teams from both Dell Technologies and Ericsson towards a defined engagement deliverable located at Ericsson lab premises in the Stockholm area.   

You will:

• Provide technical leadership on network design, solution integration and end-to-end solution validation of lead edge 5G RAN, Core, OSS/BSS, Cloud platform, automation and orchestration use cases and defined solutions over Dell servers and/or other Dell TSB offerings. 
• Have solid understanding of telecom network virtualization, drive open telecom ecosystem interop testing based on carrier-grade servers.
• Address issues independently through requirements gathering, research and collaboration with Dell and Ericsson colleagues. 
• Work efficiently with extended internal and external teams in an international setting; project management, product management, services, and other BUs to drive integration and adoption of Dell products within the partner ecosystem.

Essential Requirements

• Proven record of working in large mobile network systems either as a member of technical staff for Ericsson Mobile Networks and/or Ericsson Cloud and Network Services. 
• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in architecture, design, deployment, and lifecycle automation of macro and private mobile networks using Nokia’s cloud-native functions and solutions.  
• Understanding of 5G O/vRAN elements, Core workloads, OSS/BSS and subsystems architecture, implementation, and ecosystem. 
• Experience working with Red Hat and/or Windriver platforms, ideally also familiar with VMWare, Google, AWS or Microsoft platforms
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in setting test scenarios, profiles, including performance, scale and resiliency related towards validated and certifying multivendor, full stack solutions.
