Join usas a Senior Advisor, in a role with the Intelligence and Resilience team, in the Directorate of Supply ChainRisk and Resilience (R&R) in Penang, Malaysia to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact.

What you’ll achieve you will influence the business strategies Dell put in place to deliver on our corporate security and resilience goals while protecting Dell’s global supply chain by anticipating, understanding, and mitigating risks. Be part of a team that has one of the industry’s most forward leaning intelligence programs to ensure the security and resilience of its supply chain. This role offers the opportunity to expand one’s scope within the Supply Chain Assurance organization and the ability to gain experience in supply chain operations as part of a career in Dell’s risk and resilience efforts.

You will:

Oversee risk intelligence sources to enhance the security and resilience of our supply chain. This senior advisor role would have a supply chain background and be able to work cross-functionally within R&R (across teams), across Global Operations of the Supply Chain and beyond.

  • Understand supply chain risk and bridge knowledge between the Integrity and Security team and the Intelligence and Resilience team
  • Develop an understanding of supplier mapping, risk sensing, and traceability of the supply chain
  • Maintain awareness of geopolitical risks, regulatory requirements, business conditions and internal processes and practices to meet project/program delivery requirements
  • Develop productive, mutually valued relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further R&R’s business goals, including Global Operations and team members, ESG, Marketing, Communications, Government Affairs, Legal, and Product Group
  • Be responsible for communications to internal and external stakeholders on open-source information and the use of AI for driving efficiencies

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's and 5+ years relevant experience in project/program management, supply chain, compliance, or related field; or Master’s degree and 3+ years relevant experience or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly using powerpoint slides to influence executive audiences
  • Deep knowledge of collecting, curating, delivering open-source information on geopolitical issues that affect policy and trends
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management and interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Problem-solving skills, organizational, project management and administrative skills

Desirable Requirements 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Ability to build consensus and influence
