The Principal Consultant ANZ is a key player at the intersection of technical leadership and client-facing sales in the region. You will be responsible for representing Secureworks’ strategy & vision, while ensuring these align with the specific needs of our customers and partners in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Technology Leadership: Through having a keen interest in evolving market and broad technology dynamics and through close consultation with our customers and partners, understand and articulate how we can best meet them where they are today in their mission to better operationalise their security programs.
  • Customer Engagement and Advisory: Act as a senior advisor to customers and partners, helping them to understand and implement complex cybersecurity solutions tailored to their specific business contexts.
  • Partner engagement: Actively develop partner network and technical alliances across the region.
  • Technical Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide expert technical support in the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
  • Solution Development and Customisation: Work closely with product development teams to guide the creation of innovative cybersecurity solutions and customise existing products to meet regional market needs.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Continuously analyse emerging technology trends, cybersecurity threats, and the competitive landscape in the ANZ region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across sales, marketing, product development, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive and effective delivery of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical and strategic advisor.
  • Technical Mentoring and Training: Provide mentorship and training to both technical teams and sales staff, enhancing their cybersecurity knowledge and skills.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of the ANZ market.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and technology leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical challenges into business solutions.
  • Experience in technical sales, customer management, and product development.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide teams.
