What you’ll achieve

Develop world leading monitor system architecture to lead in innovation in the industry and help to grow monitor business

You will:

• Define monitor system architecture that encompasses use of display controllers, USB controllers/hub, Power Delivery Controllers etc.

• Work with Product Development Managers and vendors to deep dive DisplayPort/USB high speed design, electrical analysis, protocol and firmware issues

• Work with validation team to identify connectivity and System on Chip design risks and generate preventive test plan

• Lead connectivity standardization activities to ensure consistent design behaviour and signal integrity performance  across product portfolio

• Communicate key escalations to System on Chip vendors for timely resolution and drive innovation and integration of new technologies in next generation system on chip with strategic vendors

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

• 10+ years’ experience in hardware or firmware development for TV/Monitor Display Controller, or connectivity interface solutions and understanding of high-speed design, electrical analysis and re-driver/re-timer solutions

• Hands on experience on DisplayPort/USB protocol analyzers and high speed oscilloscope

• Understanding of PC and Graphics architecture is a plus and hardware design language and semiconductor manufacturing is a plus

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, negotiate options at senior management levels

Desirable requirements:

• Understanding of firmware and hardware architecture for embedded systems such as TV/Monitors

• Understanding of DisplayPort, USB4 or HDMI standards
