What you’ll achieve

You will work with other engineers and data scientists to solve some of the hardest business problems. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and to build solutions that answer those questions. We expect you to be familiar with most of the standard methods of data analysis and data science, however, it is also important to be creative in applying/implementing new methods or combinations of those to our data. Work with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to develop and deploy solutions at scale. Regularly provide update and reporting on performance.

You will:

• Based on given problem to solve identify, design, and build best data model that enables diagnostics at actionable level. Conduct Insights to inform Use Cases and Concepts and support the team’s pursuit of the overall CGM goals.

• Work with internal stakeholders and users to validate business and user needs, translating them into user-centric product roadmaps that address the top Data Science opportunities.

• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale feature engineering, model development, model validation and deployment to production.

• Lead the implementation of data science techniques and tools, to support data science teams to build and deliver analytical solutions.

• Develop and maintain Technical and operational documentation, translating business requirements into technology solutions.

Essential Requirements

• You have professional experience. 6+ years of experience in Data or BI engineering, with Education (bachelor’s degree or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Advanced SQL & Python/R skills. Proven ability to work with varied data infrastructures – including relational databases, column stores, Json format.

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI. Familiar with Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Power Point.

• Hands-on analytics capabilities, expertise in analytical problem-solving techniques and frameworks and the ability to deal with large volumes of data.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business audiences.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with data processing software (such as Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive), along with data processing algorithms (MapReduce, Flume).

• Modeling – Basic to Intermediate expertise in models such as decision trees, nearest neighbor, AI/Gen AI models. Experience with DevOps, Gitlab, Experience on Jira, TFS, Confluence
