What you’ll achieve
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.

You will:
•Perform specific delivery support activities for a single customer
•Assist in coordinating development and consolidation of technical and process documentation
•Focus on activities like data analytics and reporting
•Assist with analyzing specific issues with the customer
• Partner with Dell team(s) to provide an outstanding experience to the customer

Essential Requirements

•Overall 7+ years of experience and at least 3 years of experience in enterprise storage, backup administration and disaster recovery.

• Experience in build, administration, decommission and migration for various storage products

• 4 to 6 years of experience in object storage products, Dell Enterprise Elastic Cloud storage (ECS) and cloud solutions. 

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Data protection, Networker, Data Domain, Quantum Tape Library

• 2 to 3 years of experience in block storage products, Dell PowerMax, VMAX, Hitachi G-series and E-series

Desirable Requirements

• Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi), file (Netapp, Dell Unity), and/or backup solutions (Networker, DataDomain).

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command line operations and server support. Understanding of how to troubleshoot basic Unix/Linux problems
