Role Responsibilities

Program:  In a crowded and complex market, the Senior Content Strategist will help Secureworks stand out with our unique perspective and value proposition. We are looking for someone who will proactively inform and execute on our content strategy, helping position Secureworks as a thought leader and trusted cyber partner for the world’s most forward-looking organizations. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller who has demonstrable experience in cybersecurity and understands industry trends, competitive dynamics, and the challenges businesses face in this space. This role demands excellent relationship-building and writing abilities to craft compelling narratives and convey technical concepts clearly.

  • Develop our brand message and voice, incorporating it into our corporate, product, customer, and partner messaging.
  • Identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities in our content strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand voice.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, including product, marketing, and sales, to create messaging and content that resonates with our target audiences and supports our business objectives.
  • Develop and/or advise on high-quality, engaging content, including thought leadership articles, blog posts, website content, and webinars.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive messaging, and market dynamics to inform content strategy and positioning.
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience working with or within cybersecurity.  
  • Proven track record as an excellent writer with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling content.
    • Leverage AI effectively as needed.
  • Experience in content strategy, corporate messaging, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of audience-driven communications and messaging.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, eager to build relationships within the business and industry.
  • Highly organized with self-management skills.
  • Understanding of an integrated go-to-market strategy and marketing levers.
