Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. As a Lab Support Engineer 1 you will have good problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Be resourceful and collaborate with team members. SAP, ESM changes, Power, networking, cabling, Infoblox change. Work independently and in teams. Operating various type lefts to lift heavy equipment into and out of the racks. You will be responsible for documenting, labeling of arrays, servers, switches, racks, and cabling. Ensure proper cable standards for labeling and rack placement. Ensure lab orderliness, maintains accurate hardware inventory records and processes best practice procedures for lab operations.

• Manage, handle SAP inventory process, ESM call management system incidents, and tasks assigned to you.
• Taking instructions from Developers, QA, QC engineers, your manager, and LabOPS engineers.
• Manage your call volume, setting the priority order, adjustments from your manager, and the LabOPS Engineers.

Essential Requirements

• Associates College degree or 1-2 years equivalent work-related experience
• Good knowledge of SAP, Service Now
• Customer Service relations
• Collaborate with team members
• Will be required to do some physical activity building racks and cabling

• Hard worker, eager to learn, and works well individually and in teams.
• Able to manage work priorities in a fast pace, ever changing environment.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The base salary range for this position: $68,760.00 to $84,000.00.
