What you’ll achieve
We are currently seeking a Security Automation and Integration Engineer to join our Security & Resiliency team, based in United States.  Automate and integrate security into business processes and tools, delivering self-service and automation capabilities to standardize control implementation and verification.You will be working closely with product owners, software engineers, architects, cloud infrastructure operations teams and stakeholders from across Dell.

You will:

  • Implement automation to integrate security into business processes and tools, ensuring seamless operations and delivering self-service capabilities for standardized control implementation and verification.

  • Define and maintain the technology roadmap, collaborating with product owners to synchronize it with the product and services roadmap

  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria based on architecture and technical requirements, guiding a globally distributed team of software engineers to implement incremental software features

  • Evaluate scanning and testing tools, build proof of concepts, and maintain best practices for Git repo, branching structure, and workflow in Gitlab

  • Integrate aggregation and reporting tools within the organization to provide consolidated metrics and visualizations

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of validated experience in the field, including a bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science

  • Design automated, scalable, and distributed applications with hands-on experience in Node, Python, or Shell, and fluency in automation management and CI/CD orchestration using Jenkins/Gitlab CI

  • Knowledge and experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and REST API for building automation of web services

  • Experience with distributed code repositories such as Git (Gitlab/Github/Bitbucket) and preferred experience in using and building Docker-based deployments

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions, leveraging a strong foundation in automation and orchestration tools

Desirable Requirements

  • Strong analytical, process management, and reporting skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Results-driven and accountability-minded with a strong desire and ability to learn new skills.

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $125,800 - $162,800.
