Advisor, Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations

The Dell Security & Resiliency organization (SRO) manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. With team members located in over 15 countries, you will have an excellent opportunity to influence the security culture at Dell and further develop your career.  

What you’ll achieve

As an Advisor, Identity & Access Management, you will be responsible to implement and maintain IAM Identity Governance capabilities. You will play an important role in architecting modern Identity lifecycle & access governance capabilities that ensure secure access to systems/data across the organization, adhering to SOX and other compliance requirements. You will also support solutioning for strategic security initiatives related to access control and user lifecycle management.

You will:

  • Design, implement and maintain IGA solutions to support enterprise identity security and compliance requirements

  • Develop and maintain connectors and integrations with enterprise-wide applications, directories, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping)

  • Lead the automation of user provisioning/de-provisioning, role management, access certifications, and identity governance processes

  • Implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control), and policy-based access controls

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, security, compliance, application owners) to develop IAM requirements and develop customized solutions

  • Write high-quality, scalable, and secure code/scripts (e.g., Java, Python, PowerShell) to support IAM workflows and APIs. and support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory standards

  • Stay current on industry trends, threats, and best practices in IAM and enterprise security

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IAM development and implementation

  • Solid understanding of IGA fundamentals – JML processes, compliance requirements, RBAC etc

  • Proficiency in development and scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell

  • Experience with one or more major IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Azure AD, CyberArk)

  • Proven experience in architecting secure identity solutions and integrating IAM with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Code development experience with common programming languages like Java, Python, PowerShell and familiarity with REST APIs and JSON

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • Any experience in US Federal projects will be a plus

  • Experience with Zero Trust architecture and modern identity frameworks

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Git, Jenkins). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their identity services.

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $121,550 - $157,300.
