The Workforce Solutions Engineers are the vehicle that enables Dell’s sales teams to successfully identify and accelerate client end point solution associated with Client, Cloud Computing and Desktop Virtualization and AI. By leveraging award-winning capabilities, tools, products and technologies we heighten Dell's credibility in the marketplace, building customer confidence in our ability to design, implement and maintain End User Computing Solutions. All of this is enabled through a comprehensive go-to-market plan where Sales, Marketing, Services and Products are aligned for success. The result is a customer-focused solution portfolio, consisting of simplified offers that leverage Dell’s globally integrated capabilities. 

What you'll achieve
As a Solutions Engineer, you will be key partner of a customer facing pre-sales team. You will provide pre-sales guidance on End User Computing Solutions with our field sales teams, helping to define and present the overall Dell Technologies value to our customers using the full range of the Dell client portfolio. 


You will:
• Collaborate on business plans with regional sales team

• Assist customers with proof of concepts, innovative solutions, and work to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming common technical objections.

• Share best practices and guidance on Dell Technologies Client Solutions Portfolio

• Deliver product demonstrations to enable customer’s success leveraging Dell Client Technologies

• Supportive of customer engagements via onsite and/or virtual meetings (some travel required)

Essential Requirements

•Experience in Information Technology areas comprising any of the following:

Systems Administration/Integration, Professional Services/Consulting, Hands-on experience with End-User environments including deploying desktops, building servers, or 4+ years of technical business-related pre-sales experience.

• Ability to prioritize and balance your schedule in a flexible work environment

Exceptional written/spoken communication skills with an ability to simplify the complex into the more simple.


Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Server OS 2012/2016, or Windows 10 experience (Technical Certification a plus)

• Systems Management experience
