What you’ll achieve
As Process Development Engineer 1, you will be responsible for participating in the development of project plans including schedule, budget, product cost and phase review process, and design, documents and monitors the validation and qualification processes while potentially leading the efforts of others in these areas. You will also be responsible for assisting quality and production teams to analyze and resolve any product quality as well as operational efficiency issues.

You will:

• Work with minimal supervision on complex efforts involving Productivity improvement related projects

• Responsible for designing and developing automation solutions utilizing vision systems and PLC programming etc., in compliance with LEAN principles and ISO standards.

• Responsible for leading Productivity enhancement, Process Engineering (M&E) initiatives, LEAN implementation, Quality and Capacity improvement projects using a systematic and data-driven approach. Focused on optimizing processes, eliminating waste, and increasing operational efficiency across production lines.

• Support new product launches by ensuring infrastructure readiness, including equipment installation, process setup, system integration, and validation activities to enable smooth transition from pilot to product RTS.

• Support manufacturing operations by diagnosing and resolving conveyor and equipment breakdowns. Perform both reactive and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and maintain continuous production flow.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated 4 to 5 years of experience in PLC programming and developing manufacturing automation solutions that are seamlessly integrated with Industry 4.0 technologies.

• Advanced industrial engineering skills (flow analysis, simulations, capacity assessment) and Lean Manufacturing System.

• Strong knowledge in Auto CAD and SOLIDWORKS application for new & existing line design concepts.

• Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting and strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.

• Well-versed in ISO standards, with practical experience applying them to enhance manufacturing quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Familiar with ISO 9001 for quality management systems, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering with more than 4 years of experience in Process Engineering related field.

• Ability in making complex decisions and handle multiple strategic projects while working day-to-day tasks.
