Join us as a Hardware Engineer of our Client Solutions Group (CSG) Hardware Engineering Rotation Program in Taipei to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

The Engineering Rotation Program provides you a fast-paced, dynamic organization in a supportive environment that encourages learning and growth. The program consists of 3 rotations, each 12-months long, to offer you the ability to learn across different projects, solutions, and technical deliverables needed to bring our products to market. Built into the program are key opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and career progression.

You will be supported by technical subject matter experts, mentors and peer advisors that will provide day-to-day support, grow your Dell network, and assimilate you into the Dell and CSG culture. Furthermore, you will complete the rotation program with a deeper understanding of the CSG Engineering portfolio, accelerated technical expertise, and the ability to align your passions to your future career at Dell

As a Hardware Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of hardware components and systems across desktop, laptop, and peripheral products. This role is open to candidates with either Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) backgrounds, and offers hands-on experience in both domains.

You will:

  • Contribute innovative design ideas and confirm design parameters for commercial notebook PCs, education Chromebooks, and mobile workstation systems.

  • Design, document, and validate components or assemblies for a pre-selected sub-project, ensuring deliverables meet program schedules.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and tooling to ensure successful development.

  • Prepare test plans, conduct experimental verification, debug issues, evaluate results, and review ODM and sub-tier vendor capability to support robust product developmentand production

Essential Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related fields), graduating between February 2025 and August2026.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in a global team environment.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with CAD, CFD/FEA tools (for ME) or schematic design/layout based on x86 architecture (for EE).

  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Desirable Requirements

  • Internship experience in a technology related field

  • Participation in roles outside of the classroom
