What you’ll achieve
As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software meets defined quality standards and end-user requirements. You will work closely with Product Development, Product Management, Customer Support, and customers to validate functionality, performance, and scalability, driving defect resolution and product improvements across the development lifecycle. Through rigorous testing methodologies, automation, and process optimization, you will help deliver reliable, high-quality software that meets industry standards and customer expectations.

You will:

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies (functional, performance, scalability, and automation) to validate software against requirements and industry standards.
•  Analyze results, diagnose complex issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills, log defects, and partner with development teams to drive effective resolutions.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve testing methodologies, standards, and processes to enhance quality and repeatability.
• Collaborate independently with cross-functional teams and customers, applying expert judgment to adapt approaches and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
• Develop and deploy Python-based automation frameworks and infrastructure to support comprehensive end-to-end system validation and drive continuous improvement in test automation methodologies and processes

Essential Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or 3+ years with a master’s degree, or a PhD with no prior experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python /Java programming with advanced Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux, Unix, and VMware
• Broad system-level knowledge and understanding of enterprise storage architectures

Desirable Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Fibre Channel (FC) and Ethernet protocols and Familiarity with SAN protocols (FC: FCP, FCIP, FCoE; iSCSI:TCP
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, performance/scalability testing, and industry-standard QA tools
